They say the Nile gets in your blood and you always have to keep coming back to it. Not sure if that is true. But the White Nile runs through Juba. This picture makes it look so calm!

Closer look at the dogs

There are dogs who used to live in our compound. They now live outside our compound. What they are curled up in is the wet mud from the plants we've planted along the wall.

I don't think I posted this as I didn't have my blog or my blackberry back then. It was taken on my first trip to Africa in 2008. My how my life has changed in four short years!
